Talked to someone that watched a good part of the TED talks today. He said that they were good but not as mind blowing as years past.
The mostly sitting in the audience and listening to lectures is just not enough engagement for me.
The Open Mike Future Salon(OMFS) is the local interactive version of TED.
I joked that OMFS is what TED would like to be, but can't as it is too big now. He added: "It is what TED aspires to be ;-)
