Our Berkeley friends have lined up an excellent Cybersalon for next Sunday. I am not sure if I can make it, but I sure will try because it is so interesting. Are the amateurs destroying "our culture"? Well, what does that mean our culture? Back in the days, did the radio destroy Symphonies? Not really, may be marginalized. On the other hand the radio has opened up classical music to the masses. Through the amateur productions like YouTube videos we may come to a better appreciation of quality. Or may be not. The folks that are on the panel have thought more about this. It is going to be interesting. Check it out.
