Update: As promised, Social Software beyond talk. Ross opened up the Wiki page for us today already. It is hosted by Socialtext: http://www.socialtext.net/futuresalon/. Please go there, make yourself at home, check out the discussions/projects I opened: Improvement Ideas, Dinner afterwards and Future Salon 2004. Add your own opinion or discussion.
Goal for this months Future Salon is, to not only talk about Social Software, but use the tools and see where they make sense in a setting like ours: Future interested people meet once a month in person and have interactions in between on the net.
Update to last week's post. People that showed their interest to have Zack Lynch present again by signing up for the request on Public Mind, did get an offer for an event this week. You can find out the details about the talk this Tuesday, by signing up yourself.
We will have a Wiki page specifically for the event, probably available from Wednesday onwards.
The event will be taped, and if everything works out, will be made available for everyone at ibiblio.
Don't forget your wireless laptops, there will be free wifi, so you can blog and chat, which we will project onto the monitors to the left and the right of the main screens.
See you all there, Mark.
