What do You want to Make Today?
Jeff Nolan has seen him yesterday and raves:
...he's a passionate and animated speaker who uses video clips and other aids to deliver his message ...
Jamais Cascio has seen him tonight:
I won't try to relate everything that he said -- his talk relies on the visual presentation, and was a bit more wide-ranging and fast-moving than I could capture in my notes --
Tomorrow after you dropped off your Tax envelope, you can see MIT professor Neil Gershenfeld present his research and his new book FAB:The Coming Revolution on Your Desktop--From Personal Computers to Personal Fabrication either in person at the Future Salon in Palo Alto, or at a computer near you via the video stream provided by SAP.
We are trying to switch the webcast back to Quicktime, but not sure if we will be able. Therefore stay tuned, the link will be posted here at the Future Salon Blog.
Be part of the personal fabrication revolution and make your own thing starting tomorrow.
Talking about Make. I was also able to convince Dale Dougherty one of the fathers of the Make Magazine to come tomorrow too. They covered Neil Gershenfeld and his Fab Labs in their first issue and they are all about empowering people to do their own stuff.
We are having the bigger room, so come you all that you are thirsting for things that don't exist, but should. We'll show you the tools to make almost anything.
