Listen!

You know that it was a great Future Salon, when right afterwards someone comes up to you and says: "You video taped the session, can I have copy?"

Mike and Eric's talks were a great combinations of where we are with technological support the Cochlear implant and what we may soon be able to do with drugs that may bring back hearing loss, like birds can do.

It also made me realize how precious our senses are. Think about a beautiful song that moves you and then reduce the sensibility from 3200 to 16. But then to see Mike totally cool present and answer questions. It was amazing. I am way more nervous than he is, or he learned how to control it.

I hope Wayne's camera work is better than mine this time. Sorry Eric don't have a picture with you.

It fascinates me, how much laughter there is throughout the Future Salon. The Zack family did their share of throwing in some funny comments. Please come again next time.

Can anybody provide a little more information about the "Listen" presentation? Other than..."oh it was good." I am interested in some of the facts and details that were part of this presentation.
